Our Love Story
We met in our 20s in San Francisco through a dating app, and from the very first date, we both knew something special was happening. After that first night, Dan texted his friend and said, “I just met my wife.” From early on, we were on the same page, and by the end of our first month of dating, we already had a 5-year plan that included starting a family.
Over the years, we’ve faced challenges that at times felt insurmountable, but those experiences only made our bond stronger. Through it all, we’ve gained a deeper respect and understanding for each other’s differences, and our love continues to grow. We truly believe that our ability to work through life’s ups and downs together, including our sometimes dark humor, is what makes our relationship strong and enduring.

2021 - Owen was born and died shortly after
2024 - Bought our ski condo in Avon, CO
Our love of travel
Travel has always been a big part of our lives, and we’ve both had the privilege of exploring many corners of the world. Tori has traveled to 24 countries, while Dan has visited so many that he’s lost count! With Swiss citizenship, Dan spent a year living in Europe and even had an unforgettable adventure traveling across Africa by freight train.
Tori’s career in sales and chemical engineering frequently took her to Asia, giving her the opportunity to experience diverse cultures firsthand. Visiting new places has given us a deep appreciation for the beauty and cultural and ethnic variety of the world, and we are excited to continue this journey with our future child.
We look forward to exploring new places together as a family, and discovering the world through the curious and wide-eyed perspective of our little one.
